Extensive Travels Have Informed Fishing Knowledge of Dr. Arthur Kanev

Dr. Arthur Kanev travels extensively, having visited more than 87 countries so far. On these treks, it would not be unheard of for Dr. Kanev to study the skills of artisanal fishers who generally use traditional methods of fishing for survival. Cultural heritage also leads some artisanal fishers to hold to their ancient methods. Commercial fishers generally use different types of net techniques, while recreational fishers prefer angling, which requires some art and skill.

Dr. Arthur Kanev, who fishes for relaxation, is interested in the habits of fish, their migrations, foraging preferences and habitat. A combination of traditional knowledge and folklores often add to the enjoyment of recreational fishing. Experienced fishermen become quite knowledgeable about the tackle used including hooks, lines, sinkers, floats, rods, reels, baits, lures, spears, nets, gaffs, traps, waders and tackle boxes.

Dr. Arthur Kanev is well-versed in the many conventions, rules, laws and licensing parameters of fishing for recreation and for sport, most of which revolve around the way in which fish may be caught. In most recreational fishing, or angling, it is expected that the fish be returned to the water. Some venues allow fishing only on the caveat of catch and release. Much of sport fishing resolves around the challenge of catching deep water species, not on the value of the fish for consumption. Fish hatcheries grow juvenile fish for release into the wild to supplement the natural numbers of a species, supporting the sport fishing industry with species such as salmon, carp, tilapia, catfish and trout.

Dr. Arthur Kanev’s Shocking Revelations of Traditional Cancer Treatment

In the winter of 2009, Dr. Arthur Kanev was diagnosed with not one or two, but four deadly and equally threatening cancers: malignant melanoma, basal cell carcinoma, prostate cancer and osseous sarcoma. Dr. Kanev found himself consulting with four different doctors: his general practitioner, his dermatologist, a urologist and an oncologist, all of whom urged him to, immediately and without delay, undergo the traditional western medical treatment for life-threatening cancer(s): surgery, radiation and chemotherapy. These treatments are part of the traditional protocol from Western physicians when confronted with the need to treat cancer.

Horrified by protocols which Dr. Arthur Kanev derisively calls ‘slash, cut, burn and poison’ therapy, Dr. Kanev methodically asked all of his doctors the same question: “If you were me, would you undergo surgery, radiation and chemotherapy?” Dr. Kanev’s general practitioner was reluctant to answer, and delayed until finally, under pressure, conceded that he would have surgery, but not radiation or chemotherapy. Similarly, the dermatologist who had performed no less than three successful surgical procedures on Dr. Kanev, confirmed that he would not, as a personal choice, have radiation or chemotherapy.  The urologist who had diagnosed Dr. Kanev’s prostate cancer said he would have surgery to remove the prostate, but again, would not have radiation or chemotherapy. Finally, Dr. Kanev’s oncologist concurred: that he would have the sarcoma surgically removed, but would not have chemotherapy or radiation.

Dr. Arthur Kanev was stunned. The four professionals who treated their own patients’ cancers repeatedly and daily with chemotherapy and radiation, would not have the same treatment if they found themselves with the same cancers that he suffered. Dr. Kanev researched his forms of cancer with his many medical contacts the world over, collecting consultations and opinions about his medical conundrum, as well as discovering a variety of non-traditional approaches to cancer treatment protocols. At the same time, Dr. Kanev began to investigate non-traditional and alternative treatment protocols for treating his cancers. This search was interrupted by a study which Dr. Kanev happened upon which contained a poll of over 1200 oncologists around the world. This study asked the same question of the 1200 oncologists: “Would you follow the standard protocol of radiation and chemotherapy to treat your own cancer?” Astoundingly, 85 to 91 percent of the oncologists polled said no. Dr. Kanev concluded that the reason for this overwhelming negative response was that radiation causes cancer and chemotherapy agents are carcinogenic, attested to even by the labels on chemotherapy drug packaging. The cure was worse than the disease!

The research which Dr. Arthur Kanev encountered in his journey of discovery about alternative cancer treatment protocols left him hopeful to be able to avoid the traditional “slash, burn and poison” approach to cancer treatment.  Unfortunately, the prognosis of his five-year survival rate for those suffering with his types of cancers who had undergone chemotherapy, radiation and surgery, was 0.  All of his doctors concurred that Dr. Kanev should get his affairs in order.

Dr Arthur Kanev – An Education in Cancer

Dr Arthur Kanev learned all that he could about cancer afterhe was diagnosed with the disease in 2009. It disturbed him that mostoncologists he polled would not personally undergo the chemotherapy andradiation treatments that they regularly recommended to their patients. Todayhe is a cancer survivor who advocates tirelessly for non-traditional cancertreatment protocols, and tries to bring hope to other cancer patients.

New Developments and Advances in the Fight Against Cystic Fibrosis

When the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation was created in 1955, kids with CF often lived short lives and could barely even go to grade school. Due in vast part to the Foundation’s forceful interests in inventive examination and exhaustive consideration, numerous individuals with the illness are currently living into their 30s, 40s and even later. In 1989, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and its supported researcher by their scientists had found the defective gene that causes cystic fibrosis. This step was a great leap forward in making progress towards a cure. The Foundation assumed a basic part in the advancement and FDA endorsement of various treatments that are presently a piece of consistent treatment regimens for those with the disease. The Foundation has a powerful pipeline of promising potential medications that target the sickness and disease from each angle possible.

The Foundation supported the advancement of the earth shattering medication named ivacaftor that is also named Kalydeco. The first to treat the underlying cause of Cystic Fibrosis and has done so in small groups of people who are affected by this deadly disease. The Foundation is also supporting exploration to treat the main cause of the disease for more people who have to live with it. They will not rest until they discover a cure for every living person with Cystic Fibrosis.

Backing this organization with full support was an easy choice for Dr Arthur Kanev. It has been a vital part in discovering the cure for such a brutal disease. With compassion, devotion and persistence he believes this disease can be defeated once and for all. The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation gives him a great sense of hope that one day that conclusive cure will be found for CF, as well as other diseases.

Learning to Give Back

Our expert took an interesting approach to curing cancer. First, he began eliminating stress from his life was part of a self-devised plan to cure himself from cancer, after he became disillusioned with traditional Western cancer treatment protocol. “I was in the process of rehabilitating the kitchen and two bathrooms in my home,” he recalls. “Obviously, I love to travel, and have been to 87 different countries so far,” he says.

“My goal is to have left the world a better place when I depart this life through good deeds, good karma, and a constant positive attitude,” he says. Our expert is a retired dentist who now makes his home in Florida, where he is involved with the Presbyterian Church of Pompano Beach Missions Committee. He also detoxified his body, and severed all ties with people he considered negative. And he is now dedicated to giving back to society, and remaining a positive person. He tried to laugh every day, began making regular visits to a massage therapist, and saw a chiropractor who helped him get free of all pain.
Barely one year later he was cancer-free, and remains so to this day. That includes his continuing missionary work in Southeast Asia, where he has been involved in building schools, and medical and dental clinics in Thailand, Cambodia, and South Vietnam.

Dr Arthur Kanev says that he has always been handy with tools, and has built many new houses and rehabilitated five older homes. “I was doing all of the work by myself and this was obviously very stressful. Through his church he has worked on twenty-eight different missions, both locally and internationally. But a diagnosis of cancer in 2009 led to some radical changes in his life, one of which was setting down his tools, at least temporarily.

Dr Arthur Kanev – Helping the Homeless

Giving back to others is one of the most important things you can do as a person. Our own expert has been a volunteer at the Saint Laurence Chapel Homeless Shelter, and a volunteer at the Broward County Outreach Center, where homeless people receive help and hope in a non-judgmental environment. Four percent were part of a homeless family, and two percent were unaccompanied minors. They say that a much better indicator of the size of the problem is the number of people who experience homelessness at one time or another.

Most studies of the homeless population are limited to counting how many people are staying in homeless shelters, or can be counted as they live on the streets, according to the Coalition. Putting a number to how many people are homeless in the United States is a difficult proposition. On a survey of twenty-three cities, conducted by the U.S. The very nature of being without a fixed address makes an accurate headcount all but impossible, and experts say that the very question of how many people are homeless is a misleading one.

Experts at the National Coalition for the Homeless say that in most cases, homelessness is a temporary condition, not a permanent one, and so the numbers constantly fluctuate. People are often turned away from shelters because they fill up so quickly.  Of those who were in emergency shelters, seventy percent were single adults and twenty-nine percent were part of a family, while one percent were unaccompanied minors. In spite of what any statistics say, there is no denying that homelessness is a serious social problem, not just in the United States but all over the world. In any case, there are figures that are generally accepted. Conference of Mayors, ninety-four percent of people living on the street were single adults.
